Swim meet organisers – how would you like to keep parents happy and make more from your ticket sales at the same time?

From our own experience of running sports events and being parents ourselves, we know how disappointed parents can be if they can’t get in to their child’s heat or final and how difficult that can be to organise.

Running a swimming meet involves lots of different sessions, sometimes over several days. It can be a headache for you to allocate spectator tickets and a headache for parents and other spectators to navigate purchasing the right sessions and days.

In answer to this, we have developed a system on OrderWhizz that lets you list your spectator tickets in as many combinations as you like. All your customers have to do is click and pay.

You can easily allow multiple session bookings - 1 ticket for session one, one ticket for session two etc. so that parents can pick and choose more easily. Or how about a full weekend ticket for all sessions - at a discounted price perhaps? The permutations are entirely up to you.

And – unlike some bigger ticket sales platforms - we only take our percentage fee per transaction, not per ticket, so you retain more of the overall price.

Once they’ve bought their tickets, we send you a file to either use online or print out so you can see at a glance who’s booked what. You can configure it as you wish so it’s easy for your volunteers and staff to check people in – by session, by surname, by day – again, entirely up to you.

But what if you have a limit on numbers? OrderWhizz helps you manage expectations by adding a countdown telling customers how many tickets are left and also when it is sold out the second it does.

And if you have a capacity limit for a popular event and you do sell out, why not run a waitlist?

We add an entry to your booking page exactly as if it were a ticket purchase but it’s for a waitlist for all the sessions you choose. Customers apply in the same way as buying a ticket and we provide you with a list of names and contact details in the order in which they signed up.

If a ticket becomes available before the event starts (at a time you decide), you simply contact the next person on the list and transfer the ticket. Easy!
