QR codes triumph at Olympic pool...

A weekend of firsts for OrderWhizz!

OrderWhizz was involved in three firsts last weekend: Surrey County ASA used us for the first time for the Surrey Age Group Championships – Relay Gala 2024, prestigious and well attended event. Surrey also switched venues to the former Olympic venue, the London Aquatics Centre which was a first for them and us!

The London Aquatics Centre offers more seating for spectators so the pressure was on for OrderWhizz to work perfectly, including processing QR code tickets purchases on the day.

Incredibly, over 1,000 tickets were sold by QR code during this one day event without a hitch (and no surge pricing either!) This is on top of advance tickets also processed by OrderWhizz, making a total of 1,200 tickets handled by us for the event.

Four volunteers were able to scan the QR tickets in two shifts during the day which was quick and easy. It made processing a busy entrance and exit area much smoother than usual.
